i recently got a K3 Touch grinder and have used for about a month and have run 4 lbs of coffee thru it so far. Last week i started having an issue with the Manual button where when clicked does not do anything. NO grinding at all but if i switch the operation to automatic it works fine.
I decided to go ahead and take the burr out and do the deep cleaning although i dont think it was required considering i only 4lbs of coffee thru it. Anyways the clean up did not reveal any coffee that was stuck to the burrs so i assembled it back and then tried to run the Manual mode again - same issue does not do anything, switch over to Automatic and works just fine.
Yesterday all of sudden the Manual operations started working again and today it stopped and the issue is back. Not sure if anyone here has experienced anything like this but i am thinking this is some sort of electrical issue with the grinder operation button?

Shariqz, I have the same grinder. I had the exact same issue with mine after only 2 months of use. I called the store where I bought it (Zcafe) & was told I probably needed a larger capacitor installed. They sent one to me and walked me through the install over the phone. It was easy, and that fixed the problem! It hasn't stalled since (over a year, now).
