Thanks for the encouragement guys. I still have to replace the tamper. Is 58mm the standard? (hopefully I can find one in town, Halifax seems to not be so great for finding espresso accessories.)

If I could get the spout off the PF I'd be content I think. That sucker is hard to get off. I need to find someone who has a vice I can use quicky haha.

PID controller is some months away I'd say haha anymore money put into this and my wife would murder me on the spot ;)

58 mm is standard for Gaggia and many machines.  You do not have to spend a lot, unless you want it to be a cosmetic feature. Save your money for function, and life insurance :)
