Yes, like a big coffee n00b, I was messing with the grind settings while the burrs were not running...

Now, even when I set it (and start finer, then adjust "down"/coarser), the right-hand adjustment will still want to move down, while it's running, without my touching it. Sometimes it will stay for one dose, and then start moving during the second basket I am filling; sometimes it will move towards the end of filling the first basket, after I have just set it.

Is there a way to tighten something, etc.? Did I break my Vario?

They have a fix for this "wandering setting" issue.

Baratza faceplate removal and adjustment shim repair PDF

You will need to contact Baratza to get the shims for the repair or fabricate something yourself.

Same thing happened to me, but it was when the bottom setscrew was close to its tightest setting.  I was having problems getting a fine enough grind.  I finally sent it back to Barazta, who replaced the grind chamber.  Took about 2 weeks.
