Espresso: Silvia V3 Grinder: HG One

Ladies and Gents, I am truly not sure what to do. I have a Silvia and preciso. The grinder is the main component to a great Espresso from what I understand. I am the only one drinking espresso, I do not make many latte's or anything of those lines very often at all. The Silvia suffers from temp stability problems. If I went to a HG One grinder, am I just overkilling the whole situation? Or am I better to keep my preciso and modify the Silvia with PID or something?
I am not sure which route to go. The machine problem is tough as I am not pumped to spend $1500 on an espresso machine. I guess I need to be sold on the idea you know? From my understanding its all about Grinder but I have learned a lot from people here and would like to make the right choice. Any feedback to a new setup is great. For what it matters I am in Canada so great stores like Seattle Coffee Gear won't do me any good! The store I shop at is IDRINKCOFFEE.
