Subject: baratza vario vs mahlkonig vario

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a Vario, but I notice that there seem to be two brands.

Mahlkonig and Baratza.

Are there any differences between them? I only know that the Baratza comes with the tool so that you can change the burr distance, but apparently the mahlkonig doesn't. Anything else though?

Thanks!

Vario has smooth operation with front-mounted and easy access control units while the Baraza has an exclusive Porta Holder for hands-free grinding into espresso machine porta filter. However, they are all good!

Did you know...? Dark roast coffees actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts due to the fact that the process of roasting burns off caffeine.

Dear Joseph, the Mahlkonig Vario Home comes with direct portafilter holder. To the best of my knowledge there is no difference between the two other than the "made in Germany" and that the fine calibration of the grinder voids the warranty in the case of Mahlkonig.
