I couldn't find evidence of anyone ever trying this, but it seems like it should be possible to put a preciso burr in an encore grinder. The top burrs are the same top burr but the bottom burrs differ:
The difference seems plain to me; the encore burr has a more aggressive bean feed, which would result in more crushing vs cutting. I'm sure the machines themselves differ in build quality, and I don't know what if any effect that would have on the quality of the grind.
Basically I'd like to know, has anyone tried this and failed? If not, I'll be the guinea pig ;)

I would think that the primary difference would be the grind adjustment. Maybe a more direct comparison would be the encore vs the virtuoso (as it also uses the presico burrs). I would be curious to see if they fit in an encore and how it works.
