It was somewhat a leap of faith and I know this is backwards... but I just ordered one of these guys and wondered if anyone had any experience with one? Any tips?

This is an absolutely fantastic grinder. I own one of these and they're rock solid, reliable and quiet.
My only guff is that they can be a little inconsistent with dosing, but a lot of other grinders suffer from that problem as well.
This grinder will last you for many many years.
You should grind a capful of grindz in this grinder whenever you switch between suppliers of beans. (Or at least once per month if you don't.) Make sure that you grind at least two doses after so your shots are somewhat consistent. If you get grindz residue in your portafilter, it'll play havoc with your shot times, but it won't be the end of the world.. It just makes dialing in a little more difficult.
When dialing in, don't use the automatic timer feature until you are sure that you can pull a good shot off of your machine. Once you've got the grind dialed in, then adjust your automatic timer. A good starting point for the double dose button is roughly 15-18 seconds for 16 grams, depending on the beans you are using. You can set up your single dose button to half of that if you wish.

It should last you for much longer than the lust of another grinder may be abated. In this hobby, it is hard to settle for long on whatever we have, when you get to this level of gear, the quality is there in spades but the ..... I wonder, ..... What If..... WOW that looks great, questions and desires take hold long before the gear wears out. So, use it in good health, it is a solid grinder and may you never "get bored" and look at another grinder with desire in your eye!

Ya, right is right! I'm in with the Mini-E (Type B, but same guts), and I'm already tired of the clumps, retention and slowness. It's a good grinder, no doubt, but not perfect. Looking at the Mahlkonig K30 Vario (which is 2x the cost)...
