Hey everyone, I am a new member. I currently have a Le'lit PL53 and Silvia V3 combo. I was wondring what people thought would be the next upgrade for the grinder. would it be a rocky? or is the rocky around the same level? Also how much of a difference will is see in the quality of my espresso
I would consider the Le'lit to be much better than the rocky, for espresso.
I would say that a Vario or a Mazzer would be a step up but it depends on your price range for what a 'step up' should be.
As for the difference, it should be significant if you can make a good upgrade. I have never owned a Le'lit but have heard nothing but great so i can't say how much better a Vario/Mazzer might be.
I'd only pick up the Mazzer Mini over the Vario if I was worried about Build Quality. Mazzer is a tank. But if you're like me, and most home users, you're more worried about the grind quality and as stated by emrad, i'd say the Vario is better than the Mazzer Mini. Considering the Vario also costs less, it's hard to not say great things about it.
