I 've had an Ascaso dorserless I2 grinder for the past 10 months. I got it at 1stline equipment. I only use it to grind espresso for my La Pavoni hand pull machine. I never change the grind - do not use it for any other machine. I use Blue Bottle beans -a light brown roast , not oily not dark. A couple of months ago machine started to peridoically stall out when grinding. Would not grind made a low sound - like a staled motor. I would loosen the wheel which would eventually unjam the grinder. I could then tighten the grinder and it would grind for a few days before stalling out again. After much time with support at 1st line equipment they had me send back the machine and replaced the motor. They said that the problem could be my coffee choice bean choice?? or that there had been a rock(I'm not aware of such a thing) and that the burrs need to be replaced. I am perplexed and do not want to replace the burrs unless I can nofirm that this is the problem. When I run the grinder without beans it does not make a skretching sound. Has anyone else had a similar problem with the Ascaso I2grinder ? I'm very dissapointed
