Someone gave me a lightly-used Bodum Bistro burr grinder with a missing top burr. I have been looking online for a replacement top burr but haven't had any luck. Bodum's webiste does not sell them as a spare part. I called their customer service and was told if it is not listed on their website then I am out of luck. I have looked in to most of the Bodum related threads in this forum (including the mod thread) but haven't found any info. about where I can find a replacement burr. Do any of you have any advice?

Welcome to the club. I have a Bodum Antigua -- same boat. No oars are for sale, anywhere. Just want it in the cabinet in case the Macap ever goes down.

This is not a very expensive grinder to start with and if the maker does not sell replacement parts even though the grinder is still in production, consider it a throw away device.
You might be able to find a used one for sale someplace but then, if it is working, yours would be spare parts for it rather than the other way around.
At least you are not out any money for it ;~D
