Hi,

I've been trying to find a decent grinder for use with my Baby Gaggia & La Pavoni Europiccola. I've just bought this one:

I can't find anything about it on the internet - "Azkoyen" on google only turns up information about the Capriccio.

It looks the part, so I'm sure it will be decent enough - but does anyone know what it is or (ideally) if it's any good?

Thanks v much

Leigh

I think Azkoyen might be the same as Compak, if that's any help to anyone - does it look like a Compak grinder?

my best guess is that it's an old K5, K6 or K8

here's a parts diagram for those grinders   Click Here (www.eunasa.com)

and here's another thread from someone that ended up with a k6 that looks very similar to yours.   http://coffeesnobs.com.au/grinders/8841-compak-k-9-a.html

Hi Frank,

I just picked it up and it is a Compak K6 - possibly solenzio model because its really quiet.

It's amazing!

I couldn't pull a good shot on my gaggia baby yet. I need a few pounds of cheap beans to get the hang of it I think - I've never had a proper grinder before. Well I had a solis maestro but this is an entirely different kettle of fish I think....
