I second this. I bought my SJ many years ago on the used market for $250 and it's still going just as strong today as the day I bought it, although I did replace the burrs and the hopper not long after I first got it. The biggest problem with the SJ is that it won't fit under most kitchen cabinets unless you hack the hopper. The area where I have mine has no cabinets above it so I don't have that issue. For home use there's not much reason to buy a new SJ so long as you can find a decent used one (decent used ones seem to be plentiful unlike the Mini). So long as you don't mind buying used, it's one of the best grinder values out there.
