Took apart an cleaned etc, and now the hopper just rotates smoothly. Taken this grinder apart before no prob, not sure what's up. Opening it back up an re-checking everything looks fine. Course had to happen on a friday evening and now can't have coffee for the weekend lol.

Ok.. looks like somehow the ticker thingy that goes in that spring below the ring, is not there. However thats just odd as I didn't hear anything fall out of the grinder, don't see any little piece, and the adjustment ring was never taken off. So somehow I have a disappearing ticker :( . Guess I can put back together and see if it works, should still work though more like a step-less since the hopper moves smooth now right? Till I can reach Baratza and figure that out.
edit - dangit, totally forgot this time to take the micro adjust knob off, pulled the body and.... well looks like the adjustment ring is busted now. Doh'
