I have just had the best customer service response in decades... on Sunday my Baratza Pecisio developed a little problem. On Monday morning I called the Baratza technical support line to get a little advice on how to proceed. After a few minutes of discussing the problem, I was amazed when the tech service guy told me he would send out a replacement that afternoon! When I received it I was to pack up the broken unit and return it, postage prepaid, in the carton the replacement came in.
Wednesday morning (today) the UPS guy delivered the replacement to my doorstep. It works like a charm and I'm a true believer- Baratza makes great grinders and their customer service is beyond compare.

Baratza offered for me to come to their service center in person (luckily, I live ten mins away). I called with a badly-calibrated Virtuoso that I put back together incorrectly and within two hours their technicians had calibrated and shimmed it to my needs right in front of me. I couldn't believe their service and it made me feel great about purchasing my first grinder. Having seen their operation, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I have also been on the receiving end of outstanding service from Baratza. Over the years that I have owned my Vario I have contacted them a few times and always been impressed with how they handled my questions. Last time I contacted them it was a stupid error on my part but they very kindly walked me through the basics and got me on track.
