Hi Here's another suggestion, but I doubt you will like it.
Sell Silvia, and buy a cheaper machine.
Use the money you make to buy a better grinder.
You can make better espresso with a cheaper machine and better grinder than with Silvia and a grinder that is not suited for espresso. Espresso grinders are pretty much $200 and up, unless you get really lucky on craigslist or ebay.
Of course come here and get advice on the espresso machine before buying anything.
