I've been looking for a decent electric grinder in my price range for a while. There isn't much in the way of reviews for Faema grinders. Anyone recognize the one in the attached photo? If so, any reviews?

I own both of these "Faema Family" grinder and espresso makers as well as the custom stand it sits on. I'm missing the cover to the grinder on top and need to find a new one. The new versions of the espresso maker haven't had a copper boiler for many years so if this one is in great condition and has the copper boiler buy it. The grinder is superb and has a very heavy burr.

Have owned and used this pair almost daily for twenty-five years! They are now with my son, still going strong. I bought a second espresso machine, used, as a back-up to my new machine. I would highly recommend the grinder if the price is right, but it would be a shame to break-up a set.

If your looking for a lid for your 'family' grinder, give Faema in Toronto Ontario a phone call. They have sold hundreds of these grinders, and still service them. They just may have what you need kicking around?
