Espresso: La Nuovo Era Cuadra Grinder: Baratza Vario

I've had my Vario for about 6 months now and over time I've had to adjust the settings to fine and finer until today I had micro and macro all the way to the top and I still brewed a couple of fast, sour shots. I decided to use the adjustment tool for the first time.
I misread the instructions and started adjusting with both levers all the way to the bottom I screwed it in a few turns, realized my mistake and backed the screw out. All the way out.
Any idea how I can reset this thing? If I turn the screw in even a little, I really can't move the macro more than a few clicks up before I hear the motor speed lower (ie sound a bit labored).
How can I get the screw back in there and re-calibrate the grinder? Man, I feel stupid right now.

Try something simple. Move both levers all the way down, then gently tilt the grinder (remove the bin first) forward to reach about 45-30 degree angle and lightly pad the back of the machine with the other hand. There is a floating steel lever that can move backwards and can cause the behaviour you described. See if that helped.

That worked!!! Thank you so much for the information. I have everything back together and have the grinder set so it just starts to labor a bit at full macro and half micro.
