You have a Saeco m2002 with a somewhat rare doser attachement. I have what I think is a rebadged Turmix version w/o the doser. It has small flat burrs, I don't remember the size. Its collar can be tricked into letting you zero the burrs and it does grind fine enough to choke. It sounds like a dust buster when you run it and thanks to the small burrs it has to make that sound for a while to get a double dose for espresso. Mine is a static generating monster, coating the inside of the little catch container thing in a thick layer of grounds top to bottom. Maybe the dose corrects this, maybe.
I would venture to say that it's a step up from a blade grinder and worth maybe $30-$50 to someone not planning on ever spending more on a better grinder. It might make a nice companion to a moka pot for a patient and hard-of-hearing user. If my attempts to make a static breaking grill fail, it's going on eBay and will be sold for whatever it sells for.
On the plus side, it's so small that it easily fits in a USPS medium flat rate box, and can be shipped anywhere in the country for a little more than $10.
