show.  Does everyone else's?  It just has a metal prong at the top.  What's going on with this?

It should be there, just contact Baratza - They'll send you one to install. World class customer service.

Mine came with the forks, if yours didn't i'd definitely contact them! Was in a small plastic bag tucked in the same bin they were meant to be installed in.

Only if you bought a refurbished one. A respected company like Baratza would have a lot to lose by cutting corners and selling refurbed machines as new.
