Subject: Entry level burr grinder for Dubai

Hi,

I was suggesting to my brother who lives in Dubai that he should get a good entry level burr grinder rather than buying ground coffee. I have used a Capresso Infinity in US. Is that model or something similar available in Dubai or Online (to be delivered to Dubai with correct voltage/power)? If so, please suggest the stores or any other alternatives. I would have bought one and sent it but for the voltage issue.

Thanks,
Kaycee

Hey, maybe it is a little late, but I just wanted to drop a line in case you havent found a grinder yet.

In Dubai, there are not a lot of descent grinders. There are only 3 models:

  1. Ascaso i2, steel - you can find this at www.boncafeme.ae
  2. Mahlkonig Vario (personal preference) - also at www.boncafeme.ae
  3. Eureka Mignon Instanteneo - can be found at http://www.rawcoffeecompany.com

There are the usual suspects around (Mazzer, Rancilio) but they are industrial size only (no Mini versions),
and also there are some kitchen aid grinders (or it was cuisinart, I can not remember), in Galeries Lafayete in dubai Mall...

Let me know if you need extra info...

Hi dimitrievski,

Thanks. That was useful. Looks like none of them give out price information. Do you have any information on online stores that sell 220V grinder and can ship to Dubai?
