I'm looking at a few grinders around $220 Canadian. I only drink espresso. I really can't go over $250. I've read about the virtuoso, that it's really only the first 3 grind options that work for espresso, but that with some tweaking one can produce a decent shot. I can't seem to find anything about the Pavoni mini. These are the 2 in my price range that are available at Espressotec. I had a bad experience with Creative Cookware, and I'm not sure what else is available in Canada. I'd rather not pay a bunch of international shipping costs.
I have a gaggia espresso machine. I'm after the best shot I can manage while staying in the price range. I'm used to the perfection of shops like Elysian and 49th Parallel in Vancouver but I'm so very far from producing that at home.... any grinder advice would be appreciated. thanks.
