Espresso: ECM Giotto Grinder: Mini Mazzer

Yes I ordered from espressoparts. I had the parts delivered to a hotel in LAX. The total including delivery was $232.84 USD. I thought that was expensive however I now have the grinder I want for a lot less money than selling this one and buying a new one. I'm surprised at how much these have gone up in price over the last 18 months.
Keepitsimple: Thanks for the info. There is no guidance that I could find on how to put it together. I think I might be stuck with the static screen where it is as it has to be secured by the gasket. The slight spray is just from how it falls from the funnel. Nothing like the spray from the doser.

You might try peeling the gasket off so that you can re-position the screen. I think I saw someone on here that put the screen outside of the gasket and sandwiched it between the funnel and gasket to trial with and without the screen.

It took a long time. Thanks for the tips. I finally ordered another gasket and anti static screen. I've put the static screen in with the mesh squares in the bottom left as suggested and it now works very well. Virtually no spray now. It seems weird that that would make such a difference but it does. I did try it for a while with no static screen while I was waiting for my parts and it was a lot worse. IT DEFINITELY NEEDS THE ANTI STATIC SCREEN.
Buster005, I can't open that link can you check it? I've been buying from espresso parts who have good availability. It would be good to compare prices and postage costs. http://www.espressoparts.com/

Excellent thread, 1stline are out of chutes, so i bit the bullet and got these parts from espressoparts:
Qty Item Options Price 1 Mazzer Mini Backing Plate for Electronic Version Item # MAZ_206M (9483) $24.95 USD 1 Mazzer Mini Anti-Static Doser Screen - With Gasket Item # MAZ_236 (2931) $18.98 USD 1 Mazzer Electric Grinder Doser Chute Replacement Item # MAZ_235 (2932) $177.00 USD 2 Mazzer Backing Plate Washer Item # MAZ_0480 (9828) $0.70 USD 2 Mazzer Backing Plate Screw Item # MAZ_0485 (9830) $1.64 USD 1 Mazzer Mini E Portafilter Support Fork Item # MAZ_8M $57.24 USD
I assume the curvature of the doser plastic fingerguard will fit the metal chute.
While at it I got a square plastic grounds tray, the metal one while pretty is impractical as it will look dirty quickly.
Point taken about the bottom left antistatic mesh location, looking at the residue on the exit window it is obvious that the grinds exit at that corner, cheap bxxxxxxs want to save even on a tiny opening:)

I assume the PF fork is the group head holder. I had to remove it from my machine as the group head doesn't fit under the new chute with the fork in place. It is not a problem I just hold the group in place under the chute. If you go back to the photos I posted you can see what it looks like.
