Mine messes up from time to time. Usually I can just smack the handle and it starts working again. If that doesn't work, try spinning the vanes inside the doser clockwise and then try the handle again.
If that doesn't help, maybe someone else know about the guts. I looked at mine but the doser mechanism is underneath where I can't see it without disassembling the unit.
