Hopefully my new pic profile shows my new vintage Zassenhaus from Orphan - for some reason I couldn't add it to this email.

I just got it today and am so excited that I wanted to share it with you.

I have spent a chunk of time grinding and testing espresso shots.

What is the best way to care for it/her?

Thanks,
Sheila

I'd recommend contacting Orphan as they can best tell you how to clean any hand grinder. I bought an awesome KyM copper Mocca Turkish grinder from them and it rocks. Day-to-day I simply brush the burrs and catch can until any stray grounds are gone, also use a bit of compressed air here and there. Other than that I don't think a hand grinder needs much. Since yours has the wooden housing you might need to wipe/condition it often. Later!

Thanks Shadow.  Glad to hear you are enjoying your grinder.  I am so happy with mine.
