Hello guys.... Well I have an Ascaso I-mini grinder (made obvious in my title of the topic) and love it a lot.  Haven't had any problems with it at all and think it is a really good grinding for the few cups I make a day.  BUT the knob to adjust the fineness has gotten stuck.  Now, I have tried everything.... I have even unscrewed the top and tried to look at why it was getting stuck....it doesn't seem to be catching anything so I have no clue why it would be so hard to adjust.  Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it? Or should I just send it in somewhere?

If you see no debris in the worm gear, I would guess that you have gunk (coffee dust and oil) packed in around the upper burr and burr carrier preventing it from adjusting. My suggestion would be to remove the upper burr and do a thorough cleaning. As you did not mention this, I take it that this machine has not been cleaned recently (or ever?).
