It don't make a difference in the grind it only helps puff out grinds left in the chute when you use the click clack like a bicycle air pump. For that it works well for little money and no major mod needed.

I wonder if Bed, Bath and Beyond would carry them in Canada? I'm going to check it out. We have one near Toronto. Have any Canadians tried Zellers, Home Outfitters, or Wal-Mart? I'm interested in getting one since my Rocky is on it's way, due to arrive tomorrow!

Hi,
I know I am late to this game, but I recently purchased a Rocky grinder and was shopping for the click clack lid. I went to The Container Store which carries Click Clack and they had them in either white, or a goldish metalic color. I went with the goldish color despite the fact that it had a brown handle. It fit ok in my Rocky, but the pumping action didn't work so well. I decided to look more online and came across the Target brand under a different name. They no longer carry them in Target stores but there are still available online. I was able to get a black lid with silver handles, and it is awesome! Fits about the same as the Click Clack / Container store model but works MUCH better (the handles seem to compress more air) and looks a lot better too. So, if you are like me and come across this post because you are just getting a Rocky grinder and want to do this mod, act fast and look at target.com to get your lid before they are all gone.
