Wow!  I'm ecstatic . . . will post a review in the "Consumer Review" section when Mark sets it up.  In the meantime, 8 grams in 1.8 seconds; 14.5 in 3.0.  This sucker is fast, quiet, and virtually clump free!

I got one too (as the Ditting KE640 vario) ... it's amazingly quiet. Compared to every other grinder I've had, this one is soo much quieter it's hard to describe. And very very fast.

So far, I'm in love!  I admit I have a limited experience in using doserless grinders, but this is the cleanest doserless grinder I've ever seen by far!  To say you don't need a catch tray is, OK, an exaggeration . . . but honestly, not by much.  To say it's "faster than a speeding bullet" is also an exaggeration, but again -- not by much.  To say it's "as quiet as a mouse" might not be an exaggeration at all (it depends upon the mouse).

To say there is no clumping is not an exaggeration at all.

And it's actually kinda fun to use . . . ;^)

So are you going to do the hopper cut down thing? Hmmmmm power toooools. ;-)

Seriously, I still hoping someone would post the diameter of the round upper part and give us a better idea of its true dimensions.

And now the $64 question, with perfect hindsight, would you have bought it instead of the CMH?

Thanks in advance

OK, so the actual grinder lid is about 9" in diameter.

the depth of the entire grinder, including the grinds tray (which sticks out a bit past the front) is 11 3/4"
