I've been searching around the web for a few weeks looking for a grinder to upgrade to, and I found a year-old note from Mark Prince about a new doserless conical grinder from Elektra --- his description sounded very interesting, but I can't seem to find any evidence that this grinder was ever released. I tried emailing Elektra, but I haven't heard back. Anyone know what happened?

I saw one Elektra Nino at the Canadian Coffee & Tea Show last Sept/Oct. I did not try it out. At the time, the distributor thought the price was going to be $3K+. For now, I am very satisfied with the Kony I purchased. A picture of the grinder has been on the Electra Grinder web page for some time, but I hadn't heard any updates on availability.

Wow, $3K?! I figured it might be as pricey as a Robur, but $1000 more is some serious cash. Looks like I can cross that off my list of options for a new grinder, at least!

I just got a reply to my email from Elektra. They say that it's in production now, it will be shown at the SCAA show in May, and it will be "in the $1500 range."
