Anyone have an opinion about the Reneka Techno grinder? It's advertised with the Boyd's coffee company out of Oregon.
I'm told it is priced at "under $250".
Here's a limited view of the specs:
Model
Esspresso Coffee Grinder (9967) Power 380 W Electrical 110 V Dimensions (W x H x D) 8.5” x 24.6” x 13” Shipping Weight 26 lbs. Controls Electronic Microprocessor
Precision Grinder
Perfect Espresso Requires The Perfect Grind.
* Grinder holds up to 3 lbs. of whole bean coffee * Adjustable grinding feature * Volumetric doser measures ground coffee for perfect espresso * Built-in tamping device
It kinda looks like a Rossi from the pic,I was not aware Reneka, which I think now is owned by Bezzera, made a grinder. So many companies rebadge grinders.
Yep looks like a rossi. At that price without an onerous shipping charge it's a bargain if you have the space if you need a "new" grinder. The are often sold used at $150or so plus ship and occasionally bought on ebay for $250
Everybody rebadges the Rossi: Grindmaster, Bisani, so many others.
