Anyone taken the course? Is it worth the time? Also, do you get any type of certification upon completion?

They will keep your name on file as having taken the class, but after attending this maybe two or three times, I have not received any paper certificate. The knowledge you gain is the important thing.  They can show you some important things about maintenance and the internal functioning of their machines, but the real skill is knowing how to diagnose strange and unusual symptoms.  This comes more from experience and raw talent.  But I would definitely say it is worth it.  If you are real super lucky, you might get Scott's phone #, but if you call him with something he has covered in the class, he will not appreciate it.  If it for something unusual, he will be the most helpful person in your contacts list.
