My CC1 is supposed to be here today and the beans I ordered from Fair Mountain are not here yet, ordered them on Sunday.  I am going to be sad if my CC1 gets here and I have no beans to try out. :(

yeah, that would be sad.  Is there nowhere local that you can find fresh beans - just in case?

Yeah Its a 40 min drive but I do have a local roaster I can get some beans from if I don't get any today in the mail.  I was not impressed when I tried them last time, but that was also with a cheap superauto.  Now I am wondering about my CC1 as well, UPS shows on time delivery but no updates since 2/19 when it was still in Wa, sigh.

hmmm.  In my experience, the Ugly Package Smashers generally do list things as out for delivery on the delivery day.  Hopefully, you'll get your CC1 soon.

if it's only been on a super-auto that you've tried the local beans, you might want to give them another try, if only to have an "emergency supplier" handy.

Well my beans got here, I was drooling as I was re-packing them for the freezer.  My CC1 is not here, currently fighting with UPS to confirm that they have lost it. Sigh.

UPS lost the package? If it's in their system did it show out for delivery?

I just ordered 2#s of beans from them on Sunday as well. I'm fairly close since they're in NJ but just got them today also. I heard that they got hit pretty bad with the storms this week (as we did in MA) so I assume that caused a delay with USPS. I ordered Espresso Blend and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe to try. I got a sample of Costa Rican in the bag, too, which I thought was pretty neat!

They found it! New delivery date of tomorrow.  Supposedly got lost in a nasty snow storm in Minnesota.  I just hope it didn't get damaged.  Well I have 2 pounds of Fair Mountain roast date 2/17 and 5 pounds of redline roast date 2/21.  I froze most of the redline in 8oz batches.  I am hoping to be making drinkable espresso by this weekend!
