I grabbed a 10 pack of microfiber cloths from Walmart for $8. I used for 2-4 days the toss in the hamper. I never even get half way through them before doing laundry. I don't steam very often so milk suds isn't a problem. I give them a good rinse here and there.
I've melted a sponge with a hot steam wand. Microfiber works nicely to stop the wand from spraying steam water everywhere but don't hold the tip with the steam knob open. I've used J cloths in the past and they worked nicely too. I just got tired of buying them.

You can use any approve espresso machine cleaning solution with white vinegar and water. Then soak it with other parts in a shallow bowl. You can do it weekly, or depending on the frequency of using. You can use soft clothes to wipe it.
Did you know...? Dark roast coffees actually have less caffeine than lighter roasts due to the fact that the process of roasting burns off caffeine. www.coffeeloversmag.com/theMagazine

As is becoming very common, disregard the off topic post above. I just use a paper towel, I use the 1/2 size sheets, I use the same half sheet to dry pf between shots, clean the wand and tip then wipe machine down after session. They cost very little, don't need to be washed and work well. YMMV!
