hi there - been an avid enthusiast for some time. just got a new breville machine after having a expobar hx for many years.

i'd love to invest some time and money in a hands on espresso lesson. ideally, someone would come to my apartment.

does anyone have any recommendations for an hour or so in manhattan?

thanks so much.

Just go to your favorite coffee shop and chat up your favorite baristas. They are a lot more helpful than you think. May not be tailored to your exact setup but it's mostly trial and error anyway and they know how to do that.

Check out Joe's Pro Shop on 21st. between 6th and 7th Ave. I know that if you bought it there, they'd give you an hour free tutorial on using the machine.
