Stefano, thanks for the beauty shots. I don't have specifics of the regional/geographic foot print. I'm hoping the conference in April may yield a representation of where the hot spots are and what areas are not impacted. One thought is a hope something of the regional differences might bring to front a way to combat or retard the spread of these populations of fungi.

Welcome, it was very interesting to also know that this coop also has a zero carbon footprint (or so they claim) reusing the left over from the "cherries" to fuel their furnace they also have one of their coffee certified like so,
as soon as I have the time I will make a picasa folder and post it for common viewing
Of particular note, Marshall Fuss dropped this link: Good piece by Peter Giuliano here with links to actions being taken by the coffee industry http://petergiuliano.tumblr.com/

Here's an interesting opinion post on a blog out in the sphere. Well considered and providing food for thought. The basis is reminding us of the interrelationship all of us share in the nature of our life on this small planet in the universe. I found it while reviewing some of the embedded links in previous articles. "Are we all just 1%-ers too?" by NICKCHO Click Here (nickcho.tumblr.com)
