Craigslist find MAHLKÖNIG k30 vario grinder (retails at 2k)  for 850$ with less than 3 thousand shots on it.

Wish I had the luck down here people up north have. Nothing ever pops up down South, maybe once in awhile. I can search CL in northern states and find machine after machine, and grinder after grinder. There's some commercial stuff that pops up in my area but it's usually from one or two places that resell commercial wares and the prices aren't far off from new (and some of these machines are beat up), seems they cater just to the restaurant etc biz.

I was watching the K30 for $850, price had been reduced from around $1350.  Seller started out with 2.  But I passed since I had just scored my new in box Mazzer Major for $576 on eBay.   Had minor shipping damage- hole in hopper, slight dent in top of doser.

La Marzocco GS/3 Espresso Machine for 3.7k and climbing? Not sure that is a bargain.  I think you can get them new for not much more than that.  I know the list price is about 6k but I hear they sell for less.

I found A K30ES for $300 a while back - lately I picked up a Mazzer Major doser model for $125. I like cheap grinders...

I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 195 F water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

I just found a Bodum Santos (Pebo?) in like-new condition... I honestly can't tell if it has been used or just unboxed for 2$. Yay.
