Finally getting my shrine photo uploaded. Of course, this one is from the middle of a session, so there's a bit of a mess in progress. To the left is my Motta knockbox, several stainless saucers, and my box of Venezuelan stirring sticks.

Here's my latest shrine (I say latest 'cuz I have an Oscar but I can't resist looking for machines on Craigslist and I found this mint condition KitchenAid Proline Dual Boiler machine for less than $80!) I am gonna have fun modding it.
The grinder is a La Pavoni Zip clone made by Obel Bregant.

This is my Rancilio Silvia v3 with Auber PID and bottomless portafilter and ridgeless double basket, Fionrenzato T80 grinder with a plastic spice jar fitted as a hopper. Also shown is home made knockbox which was fashioned from an Ikea hardwood box from their as-is section and a cutoff dowel. It is a nice roomy knockbox and does not make too much noise since the dowel is wrapped with rubber. I also have a Yama siphon coffee maker (not shown) with butane torch which is awesome and very entertaining for guests.

Espresso: Expobar Office Lever Grinder: Preciso
Posted Wed Feb 13, 2013, 11:43am Subject: Re: Espresso Shrines
This guy just showed today after much anticipation. Expobar office lever paired with the preciso. Could not be happier! Thanks everyone for the advise on machines and grinders. I am happy to join the ranks. I have spent the morning dialing in the grinder, and have pulled a few quality shots! I am working with Twilight from Velton and it is AMAZING coffee! Only complaint is I should have bought a bigger knock box as I have had to empty it twice today already!
