Well, the Son is reenlisting in the Navy on Tue morning. We are going to head up to attend. That means a 5+ hour drive on Monday and a return trip on Wed. As I don't have internet at home, it will be about a week.
Take care all, if I can connect on the cell phone I will but I can't promise anything LOL!

Yes, had a great time. I have a few pics to upload and in fact, the post is written, I am waiting on a resizing program to download for the pics as they are starting out pretty darn high quality from my DSLR and by the time my basic program gets done with them, there really isn't much to see! Hopefully pretty quickly I will have them up. The download bar on my other computer reads 39 seconds for the program to finish!

Hi again! We had a great time and we are back to the normal daily grind. The way the reenlistment process works is you are given an honorable discharge, then you swear in again. The following pics show Adam as discharged and free from his duty at 08:01 then swearing back in and then on the hook for 4 more years at 08:04!
There is a short time between the two that he is not in the military and thus is free of military customs and could do something that is not acceptable such as calling an officer by his first name etc. Adam chose to just go out then back in with no nonsense between.
Needless to say, we are pretty proud of him.
Forum member Chex was there as he is a friend of Adam and myself. Later on Tuesday, we had some shots in Chex's room (Steve). I guess the love of coffee is possibly genetic because even though I love it, my wife does not and Adam, though he will try on occasion, really does not like it. He tried again when we had shots but it was still a no go!
Anyway, here are a few pics from a proud PaPa (and mom though she isn't here to write the post!)
First up, looking over the left shoulder, what he saw.
