Hello everyone I wanted to tell you about my experience with Temperature and how it efected my coffee. I live in a very cold part of Tasmania Australia and when I pull a shot it comes out bad. I can get it to come good with difficulty. I have moved house now to a warmer area and my shots come out awesome.
My shot this morning actually acted similar to that of pouring honey. Colours is amazing too.
So I am reall hapy about this :))))
Over packed my portafilter and at home this would not of been a shot but here in the new house it was a beautiful shot

if you are at a lower altitude your machine is boiling water at a higher temperature, and likely you are using different water now as well, so both of those could have been factors. To a lesser extent, you may also have a slightly different voltage on your mains supply. These are probably having more of an effect than the ambient temperature.
