I can't figure out how to remove the handle, it doesn't seem to want to come off. Anyway, that is a project for a day when I am flush again. Right now I am just working on a tamp stand. I need to trim my apple trees, I wonder if apple wood spoons would be cool....

yeah, agreed. I really don't detect any additional flavors from the wood, but certainly the potential is there if one were to leave them soaking in the drink. In my house, the spoons basically get used to stir sweetener and to scrape the residual foam off the inside of the cup (to get every last drop).
