.49 (yes you read that correctly less than fifty cents)  D'ancap espresso cup at a thrift store.  I was wishing I had some nice cups after seeing how heavy the D'ancap cups where at the SCAA show.  Good: it is black and white and in perfect shape. Bad: the artist must have had to much espresso the day he made it.

Craigslist - Bunn LPG-2E from a defunct cafe.  New in factory sealed box (it was a backup for their primary grinder)... $50.

Those are some quirky-looking cups! If those were mine I would probably burst out laughing every time I use those for my espresso. Or maybe that's just me having a very weird humor. I've never really tried shopping at thrift stores and garage sales since I always have this nagging doubt that the "salesperson" is trying to one-up me with his/her items in terms of price and quality. Yeah, that's me sucking on buying and haggling.

Maybe I should try, eh?

It can't hurt to look.  Something like cups you can tell if they are chipped or cracked so no risk buying used.  Here in the US you don't haggle in thrift stores, you can in garage sales.  It is a crazy looking cup it says "pizzaespresssssoooo" And at first I thought the man was a pirate.

If you have the money and space, get it.  :-D

Then if you use it and it winds up on the coffee bar, get ready to sell Oscar! It would be hard to go back!!!!!
