Well, things are always moving and changing.
For the moment, the 2 sjs are out, the new A.C. automatic is in, my machine remains the same and now there is neon on the wall, replacing a shelf that used to hold Disney collector cups. I still have those cups and a lot more and one day I will make a holder for them but until then, this is what I wake to every morning.

Wow, is that really you? Huge jump from this to the E61 legend!

JonR10 Said:

OK - here's my Isomac Relax and Mazzer Mini (the grinder hopper is a Super Jolly hopper cut down using excellent help from this site)...

LOL - talk about a blast from the  past!
That post was over 7 years ago (August 2004)...so is it really that big of a leap for that time?

There were some intermediate steps along the way as well...

September 2005 was when I got the WEGA Lyra

JonR10 Said:

Can I take a turn?

Before shooting espresso pics, here's my new (temporary) setup.  Tonight I have actually completed the kitchen coffee bar, but the pics have to wait until tomorow...

Posted September 9, 2005 link

Added the cart later in Sept. 2005:

JonR10 Said:

And here it is as I'm using it now.
(The miniGaggia and LaPavoni PGC are still over on the kitchen counter)

Posted September 14, 2005 link

Added a used Super Jolly in February 2006:

JonR10 Said:

Shrine updated today.  Notice the change?  :-))

Posted February 10, 2006 link

In May 2006 the setup got moved into the laundry area of my previous apartment.
I also notice that's when I converted the super jolly to doserless

JonR10 Said:

And here's the full Monty

Posted May 31, 2006 link

Moved into a house with my (then soon to be) wife in May 2007
And of course the shrine evolved as well...this was where I got the stainless kitchen prep table

JonR10 Said:

The new shrine!!  (And new camera!)
OK - as many know I finally bought a house, so here's the breakfast area/coffee bar

Posted May 3, 2007 link

During 2008 I mostly kept that setup, but I got rid of the Mazzer Mini and purchased a Macap M7K.
Early in 2009, I replaced the Super Jolly with the Mahlkoenig K30
In mid 2009 there was an opportunity for me to buy a very slightly used Mazzer Robur, which replaced the Macap M7K

And then, in the summer of 2009, I replaced the Wega with a LaMarzocco GS/3 (I changed jobs in January 2009, and had some new budget...)

JonR10 Said:

Shrine update   :-)

Posted October 14, 2009 link

Of course, in the summer of 2011 is when I got the Faema Legend and sold off the Mahlkoenig grinder

JonR10 Said:

...and here is my latest shrine edition : E61 Legend + Mazzer Robur

Posted July 25, 2011 link

And now I also have a Vario-W and Ceado E7 as evaluation grinders (both are terrific).
These swap in and out on the bar depending on what testing I'm doing....

EDIT - Link for Summer 2009 corrected above.
