A couple weeks ago I put up a posting in the Espresso Machine Forum asking where to find certain parts for my Isomac Millennium espresso machine. Someone here directed me to Stefano's Espresso Care website. I sent them an email and Stefano himself answered with helpful advice. I ordered the parts from him at espressocare.com. An hour or so later, a woman called me from there with a question about my address. I took advantage of her call to ask if Stefano is originally from Italy. She wanted to know why I asked. I said I could tell that, even though his email to me was clear and helpful, English is not his first language. She told me he is from Italy and that she's his wife. Since she was clearly American - or Canadian, maybe - I then asked how they met. There was a pause, and then she said, "Well, that's a long story." So, I asked if she'd give me the super-short version. Here's what came next:

Stefano's Wife: We met in Italy, when we worked together there.
Me: You worked in Italy?
Stefano's Wife: Yes.
Me: I used to live in Italy. It's almost impossible for a non-Italian to be permitted to work there.
Stefano Wife: Not if you work in a circus.

I would love to know the rest of that story. It belongs somewhere at their website.

That WOULD be an interesting story.
Stefano is a standout vendor, and we have several, like Stefano that occasionally post to offer helpful advice.
