Subject: Should we start from the beginning?

As I discussed with some people, it seems that the base of the coffee is not even very clear.  This is what I did not expected.

From the forms here, we can, at least I see, the coffee drinks are clarify into two (or three, if Turkish included) kinds, coffee (which I call drip coffee) and espresso.  But, someone said that coffee is coffee, and can be brewed in many different tools, like drip machines, French presses, vac pots, mocha pots, and of course, the espresso machines.  Does it mean we have so many different coffee and we have to discuss and consider all of them at the same level of analysis?

In our understanding, only three are considered, Turkish, Drip coffee and espresso.

Look forward to hearing from your opinion and comments about it.
