I hear alot of coffee geeks trying out coffee and espresso shops in Seattle, Portland and the Bay area but not Spokane. We're really not that far from Seattle... a couple hours east and we are the home of the largest timed foot race in the world, the largest 3 on 3 basketball tourney in the world and we beat out LA and Boston for Figure Skating!
I think you should visit our beautiful city and enjoy our great coffee houses.

I know what you mean about trying new places. I have tried many and have received some good cups no and then however the consistency of these varies greatly. I haven't found much of that. Coffee is such a philosophy that 'what a cup should be' equals the philosophy of the 'barista'. I must admit I do not have a favorite other than my own cups. But then again I don't frequent locals because I can pull my own. :-)
