We've had McCafe here in Stockholm, Sweden since the spring. Apperantly it has become quite popular. I don't know what it says about us Swedes( or at least some of us :-) ) or what it says about McDonalds. They have however connections at the tables so people can plug in their laptops. If I go out to have a coffee on the other hand I would'nt want to bring my work with me(I would'nt want to surf either, so there...)
