I found this site, and I was surprised to see Vivace has a joint venture with Japan’s Seattle Espresso System in Japan. The Café is called Macchinesti, and it was opened in Tokyo, September 2001.
In those pictures, you will see the store front, a 3-group LM FB 70 machine, a menu board (the difference between DRY & WET Cappas is 500 Japanese Yens), a Latte art, and wall murals.
I was going to translate this article for my fellow CoffeeGeeks, but, my Chinese is not very good, as the result of lack of use (I came to the States when I was 13).
It did mention, however, that Macchinesti only serves Vita blend, no Dolce at all.
I just thought that some of you may be interested. So add Macchinesti to your list, if you have a chance to visit Japan in the future.
