They're Illy and the artist is Atelier van Lieshout.  To be honest I am not a fan of the artist (it's a bit gross for me), but the cups are fun.  Closer inspection brings some surprises.  Link here: Click Here (www.illyusa.com)

These are nice and thick.  My previous Illy collector cups were not as thick (but they were nice).

I can't believe this thread is still going!  But, at the same time, I can't believe it was that long ago the words "naked" and "portafilter" were first put together on this forum.

I think my all time favourite is the "You know you're a senior member when...".  Cracks me up every time :)

I'm drooling over your shots, btw.

...and on that note, I need a coffee.

I can understand that you love the cup, but in order to look tasty the content should be of different colour......never so true that YMMV

Just hooked up some LED's to give me some light and took my first video.  Think it turned out pretty good!  Just ignore the water squirt at the end - need a new gasket :)

Here's video and a shot of Redbird 3 days post roast from my Hamilton Beach..the picture is just a second or two before it snapped into one stream.
The shots ran very long, ristretto actually, but tasted sublime.  Sorry for the crappy lighting on the video, it looks way darker on youtube than on the original

Excellent Kurt!
You can tell that shot would be excellent by that tiger tail & candy cane striations, & the dark mottling/flecking also. {:-D
