I'm enjoying yet another fantastic espresso of red Bird and wanted to give my thanks and appreciation to Jeff (owner, roaster). I placed my typical order last week and was surprised when the trusty envelope was not left in my mailbox, and I was forced to pick it up at the post office. Jeff had just sent a holiday email when I wondered if anyone would pick up if I called. Jeff answered and informed me there was no mistake, my usual order was made quite a bit more special, and I did indeed have to pick it up in person.
Jeff sent me an extra pound and an amazing bar of single origin chocolate!!
Still don't know he does it, sure glad that he does.
Happy holidays every one, especially Jeff and family.

I'll add my props to Red Bird also. Very nice beans and excellent service. If I weren't roasting my own on a regular basis I'd have to set up routine deliveries with Red Bird.

Mine came today but had not take time to open it with holiday preparation etc. After reading this i opened it and sure enough extra bar and little card.
You know those people that want to tell you how to raise your kids but have none of their own? That is how i feel when someone with a kitchen appliance tells me how the merits or dis-merits of my machine or how to use it.

I'm chiming in too. Jeff sent me a dark chocolate bar (with orange zest) along with my 5-lb order and it was great. It seems impossible to make a bad shot of Redbird, even while dialing in the grind, and when it's right, it's fantastic.

I totally agree with everything that's being said here. Red Bird is so easy to pull great shots with, and the price can't be beaten. Kudos to Jeff, and keep up the good work!

+1000 from me too. I was totally surprised with big chocolate in the box. Totally not needed, coffee is very good, but chocolate is very much appreciated ;-). Thank you Jeff.
