I bought a variety pack from 1000 Faces Coffee in GA, and my favorite of the bunch was their Kochere. Not only was it a good epsresso, but it was an excellent french press with very unique flavors - I think berries, and it had a nice aroma. Sort of pricey on its own but I just bought a few pounds again because I missed its great dual-purpose nature. I wish they'd ship USPS because GA to AZ is a 4 day UPS Ground. I guess that's the right amount of time to off-gas anyway. And they don't use one-way valve sealed bags, but as soon as I get my order I'll break it out and vac-seal them for the freezer.
I haven't had Red Bird's single-origin yet as a comparison, but I thought this one was good enough to put out there on the board.
Just a quick heads up that if you buy their beans through GoCoffeeGo you'll get USPS Priority for $4.95. I've had a few offerings from 1000 Faces. Not bad at all.
