I've been using Red Bird Espresso for over a year and have consistently received great beans and great service.  I order each 5 pound batch when I am down to my last 1/2 pound.  It usually roasts the next day and is on my doorstep in Florida within 2 days.  I break it up into 1/2 pound bags that I place into another bag and freeze.  I like it regardless of age but find it best about 3-4 days after coming out of the freezer.

Just received my first order of Redbird.  I am pulling shots with a La Valentina espresso machine, Macap grinder, Bars set at 9.5, brew temp at 198 F, 18g basket,  and 1.75 oz 2x shot. Lets see how it goes.  Prior to this post, all my shots have been bitter using local espresso beans.

Good reviews!  Ordered my first 5lb bag of Redbird Espresso Blend yesterday.  Jeff emailed today and said it will roast and ship tomorrow.  Hopefully I'll have it by the weekend, can't wait.

I put in an order. Coffeegeek members have never steered me wrong before.

Only thing I found a little odd was it took my order and payment and never asked me for a shipping address? Oh well, I emailed it to him. Seemed strange, though.

If you're paying with paypal, it probably uses the shipping address from there.
